I’m a data and investigative journalist — which basically means I dig through large datasets and records to uncover stories in the public interest. I currently report for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, covering politics, housing, the coal industry, and more. Before that, I tracked campaign finance and lobbying for OpenSecrets, a nonprofit that monitors money’s influence in U.S. politics.
